Andrologic consultation and male diagnosis
If the sperm analysis indicates that one or more parameters are significantly altered, there are signs of physical abnormalities or alterations in the ejaculation we may refer you to an andrologist.
The andrologist will carry out an extensive infertility testing, which typically includes a physical examination, hormonal check-up, clinical evaluation of the spermiogramm and past medical and family history. These investigations will provide more information to the andrologist helping him make an accurate diagnosis and choose the best treatment plan for you.
Depending on the abnormalities detected on the sperm, on the results of the physical examination or on the patient´s medical history it may be required to complete additional tests such as a testicular biopsy or genetic studies which may provide more information about the underlying causes of infertility and allow the doctor to choose the best treatment plan.
